There are two main types of stucco inspections. The more complete is called a Moisture Intrusion Inspection and the lesser is the limited Visual Only Inspection. The majority of our clients need the information that the full moisture intrusion evaluation provides, yet we understand that inspection costs are important. Consider both services and weigh the value that each will provide. You can order the Visual Only and then pay a return fee for the full Moisture Intrusion Inspection later. |
MOISTURE INTRUSION STUCCO INSPECTIONS |
This inspection is recommended to all clients who want to know the condition of the structure in behind their stucco. The report will provide stucco identification, a visual inspection identifying system details and omissions, as well as the probing results and moisture content levels. This is more expensive, but it provides you with the needed information about the structure.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a $200 discount off the Moisture Intrusion Stucco Inspection fee when you order it along with a full home inspection. Please visit www.TheHomeInspector.com for home inspection details. |
VISUAL ONLY STUCCO INSPECTIONS |
This inspection really only serves two purposes and is not adequate for most client's needs.
- 1) RELOCATION STUCO CERT - Many relocation firms require the stucco identification cert to verify the type and installation of the stucco. The visual only inspection accurately identifies the type of stucco system installed and whether there are any major issues. Many relocation firms will not allow their clients to get involved with EIFS clad homes, whereas they are usually fine with traditional stucco clad homes.
- 2) QUICK ISSUE IDENTIFIER - Some investors want a quick visual only inspection to help them quickly sort through a few properties. They use the visual only to eliminate properties with obvious damage signs or potential for damage.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a $100 discount off the Visual Only Stucco Inspection fee when you order it along with a full home inspection. Please visit www.TheHomeInspector.com for home inspection details. |
